The file is transcribed by a speech model with word-level timestamps. Every word on your list gets a bleep or silence placed over exactly that span. You see the full transcript, so you can verify what it found.
Will it catch every swear word?
Almost every one on clear speech. Words that are mumbled, shouted over music, or spoken by two people at once can be missed or misheard. The transcript review catches those: search for the word and add it by hand.

Where are my files stored?

What auto bleep gets wrong, and how to catch it
It can mishear a mumbled word. Every word shows a confidence score in the transcript, so search for anything you expect and add it.
Bleep or mute?
Bleeping makes the edit obvious, muting is quieter. Either keeps the sentence length so video stays in sync. Your own sound works too, and you can change it and re-export later.
